一般公司不會特別向員工交代他們最近有甚麼計劃，尤其是大公司，要交代起來，都不知由哪個部門開始，程序複雜，時間成本高。最主要的原因，都是覺得員工根本沒有需要知道，認為價值不大。

可是，有誰喜歡只接收命令做事？「請在三時前完成，不需要知道原因，準時做完就行」。

如果只把員工當成一粒齒輪，交代大方向的確沒有必要，但如果希望每位員工都有歸屬感，同樣很有熱誠去做每件事，盡全力一起邁向目標，透明度就極度重要。

我們公司其中一個Core Value是Open Communication，無論是哪個位置的同事，都有權和有辦法知道公司整體方向、最新策略是甚麼。例如透過每星期的1 on1，或者每次開始新項目前的討論環節，都可以釐清疑問。不過，最近我們發現這樣仍未足夠。

最近有同事在1 on1時表達了對公司的許多疑問，我們花了不少時間解答他的問題，最後終於令他理解，清除了積累已久的問題，又再變得很有動力。經此一役，我們意識到其他同事很有可能都有類似的問題……

情況就有點像一群人去摸黑行山，只有走在最前的才有燈，後面的人必須依賴領隊，大家手搭膊頭向前走。雖然知道領隊理應是看得最清楚、最了解附近環境的人，但身處後方，沒有全盤視野，總會欠缺安全感，會緊張、會猶豫。所以領隊一定要定時匯報，特別是轉方向時一定要讓後方每一位都知道他們在做甚麼，讓他們可以安心向前走。

即是說，當公司有任何大計劃或重要的方向調整，都要不厭其煩定時向同事更新資訊，甚至加設每周問題大會環節，釐清所有問題。即使項目一開始的時候已經向大家提過了嗎？再提吧！可能會多花一小時，但這些時間不花的話，同事心裏埋藏着疑問，無法全心全意一起邁向目標，影響更大更嚴重。

意大利一個地方法院近日裁定，一名電訊公司員工因公過度使用手機，導致他出現良性腦瘤，可獲補償，是全球首宗承認不當使用手機與生腦瘤有關係的法院案例。

該事主強調，並非要「妖魔化」手機，只是希望藉自身經歷令大家關注手機安全。

意國北部小鎮伊夫雷亞（Ivrea）的法院本月11日已有裁決，但有關消息直至周四才公開，相信會有人上訴。

57歲事主羅密歐（Roberto Romeo）【圖】表示，他15年來，每天花3至4小時講手機安排公事，直至右耳常感到阻塞，到2010年驗出有良性腦瘤，他的聽覺神經被移除，導致失聰。

每月補償4168元

醫生證人估計，羅密歐有23%的身體功能受損，因此法官裁定他可獲得每月500歐羅（約4168港元）的補償，由專門處理勞工工傷保險的機構負責。

美國電動車製造商Tesla周四宣布，回收近三分之二去年生產的汽車，以更換可能有問題的電子停泊制動器（parking brake），是該公司歷來第二最大宗回收行動。

電子停泊制動器有問題

不過，Consumer Edge高級分析員艾伯丁（James Albertine）認為，Tesla股價周四因這個消息而急跌1%，是反應過敏，回收對公司股價不會有大影響。Tesla股價周五反覆，中段反彈0.3%。

Tesla於去年2月至10月期間組裝的Model S和Model X汽車，當中約5.3萬輛需要回收，因為安裝了一個供應商方面製作出錯的零件，電子停泊制動器就可能會卡住，但Tesla強調未收過關於停車或煞車問題的報告。

另外，Tesla在美國面對首宗自動駕駛技術的相關訴訟，部分Model S和Model X買家集體控告Tesla，指其賣出的4.7萬輛汽車自動駕駛軟件有問題。Tesla表示，從未聲稱其汽車配備全面自動駕駛功能。
