Does anyone know how content-rich sites such as Mashable, Huffington Post, Inc.com etc. get started? I have an idea for a particular niche but I’m not sure how to start.
- Were they solo operations to begin with? Or did they have a full-time team of content creators on board from the start?
- Do you think they’re bootstrapped operations or did they get investor backing?
- Do they pay content creators or is the content essentially free content pitched by guest creators?
Any insight/advice much-appreciated.
