I used to work as a research technician and I’d say at least a quarter, possibly even a third, of all the lab supplies / reagents came from Thermo Fisher and Bio-rad. Took a look at their stock prices out of curiosity and immediately regretted never giving it a thought while I was there (started in 2012). Are they still good buys today or did I miss the train?
