Market Track is looking for a highly motivated and talented engineer with strong video and computer skills to help build and evolve Market Track's brand advertising-tracking technical solutions.
This is a key role in shaping the technical future of our audio & video based products.
Location:
This is a fully remote role that can potentially be done from any location in North America. Please indicate your state of residence in the application by completing the address fields.
Requirements:
- Strong technical background with a minimum of 3 years of IPTV experience
- Strong knowledge of television engineering, operations and advertising, with an emphasis on remote head-end operation
- SQL/relational database skills
- Knowledge of object oriented design and multithreaded programming, algorithms, data structures and optimization
- Automated software QA and testing skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to own projects, document technical specifications, and work with internal teams
- Strong system administration skills on Windows and Linux platforms
- Strong networking skills and experience with multicast networks
- Detail oriented with an emphasis on root cause identification and resolution
- Self-motivated and a quick learner who can deliver in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Demonstrated proficiency in:
- Strong PC/Server skills and TV monitoring and processing knowledge
- Excellent writing and communication skills
Related Experience:
- Video capture and encoding skills
- Experience with network protocols and network programming is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Understand the flow of patterns and fingerprints in Market Track's proprietary systems
- Help enhance and further develop a state of the art highly scalable audio and video processing solution
- Monitor patterns and performance of systems and fine tune them
- Development of tools and interfaces to this solution to our other system components
