Arx Defence has raised a Series A round from Dreamlab Finance. Financial terms weren’t announced. Arx, of Edinburgh, Scotland, is a maritime security firm. Invenio Corporate Finance advised Arx.

Maritime security firm Arx Defence who design and manufacture maritime security and asset protection products, including anti-piracy and man overboard devices, last week concluded a Series A funding, advised by Invenio Corporate Finance, by investment fund Dreamlab Finance.
ARX Defence specialise in maritime technologies with a growing range of innovative products designed to solve current issues and areas of risk presented by today’s maritime market. Products are engineered to withstand the rigors of volatile environments and help protect and support assets in all circumstances.
The funds secured will be used to support the fast-growing demand for ARX Defence’s physical anti-piracy barriers that have been specifically designed to prevent pirates from being able to board cargo ships at sea. In addition, the firm will roll out its innovative container temperature tracking system to many of the world’s most well-known container and reefer cargo shipping companies.
