Is Intel $INTC undervalued?

http://ift.tt/eA8V8J

Nvidia and AMD have been all the rage as of late meanwhile it seems like no one is talking about Intel. They’re sitting on a PE ratio 15 with revenues consistently increasing each year and have the majority market share in CPUs. I understand that Intel doesn’t really do GPUs and GPUs are essential for AI, which is what investors are excited about these days, but at the same time a huge data farm of GPUs is meaningless without CPUs.

The CEO came out last year and said that they are switching strategies to focus on cloud computing by developing CPUs for data centers. With the maturity of this company, significant market share, and consistent growth, is there any reason why people would not think that Intel has huge potential? Maybe they haven’t capitalized on this potential YET but that doesn’t explain such a low PE.

Is this an easy buy or am I missing something?
