How often do “expert” ratings of buying/selling stock actually turn out profitable?

For example, I’ll use Delcath Systems (DCTH) as an example. Community here seems to be against buying anything Delcath related, yet on certain websites the have the stock rated as a buy. Are these experts really trustworthy? Would taking their opinion in to consideration be beneficial or am I better off running with my own statistics analysis?
