Germany’s Kreditech gets $112 mln from PayU

Kreditech, the Germany based fintech company, has raised 112 million from payments service company PayU.

The deal brought PayU a significant minority stake. Existing investors in the Kreditech include JC Flowers, Varde, Blumberg Capital, HPE, Peter Thiel, Rakuten and the World Bank’s IFC.

A press release called the deal the largest equity investment in a German fintech company.

The investment follows a pilot program in Poland between Kreditech and PayU.
