I’m 27 years old and have ~300k in savings. I’m currently earning ~30k/mo writing code for an assortment of startups. I’m in the best financial position I’ve ever been in my life, but I’m nowhere near where I thought I’d be at this point. I’m a generalist developer, very strong on systems and front end.
How would I go about finding a startup with a reasonably high chance of success, where I can get a large amount of equity and the ability to cash out in no more than a few years? I live in the middle of nowhere and don’t really have any sort of social network to talk to about this sort of thing.
Where can I find founders that have already done market validation and essentially have customers willing to sign large checks for their yet to be built product? Where do I found these types of business founders?
