The great Under Armour (UAA) debate continues.
As many of you know, Barron’s recently splashed Under Armour on its cover, arguing that the stock, which has dropped 34% in 2017 alone, could be poised to rebound. The stock hasn’t done much since then–shares of Under Armour have decline 3% since the story appeared on April 1–as bears and bulls have continued to debate its merits.
Deustche Bank’s Paul Trussell and team, however, prefer to sit on the fence, despite their apparent bearishness. The reason: They worry about a potential earnings and sales miss, but they note that sentiment is already pretty, pretty bad. They explain:
