Has anyone built or used a platform like WordPress (marketify, woo commerce), sharetribe to create a two-sided marketplace (like etsy, craigslist, amazon)? Not finding much validation in one option over another so thought I would see if anyone had any suggestions.
I spent some time on sharetribe and quickly learned it has its limitations in results for variations of a product. For example, if you were selling snowboards, and you had one model of a snowboard with 5 variations of size, based on their results, all 5 variations would show up unless the user filtered out the sizes. I would expect that only 1 model would show up, and if the user filtered on size, still only 1 model would show up, but it would be a model that met your sizing filter. Does that make sense?
