My friend (now partner) and I recently had an idea for a business but we want completely different things out of it.

He created the website and it’s under his email, but I paid for it to be functional. He also purchased the business cards for it. We have a very good idea and we both believe it will be relatively profitable. The problem is he is thinking of it as more of a summer job and believes i’m taking it way too seriously (writing a basic business plan, thinking of incorporating it, opening a business checking account etc) when I see a lot of potential in the business. In a minute i’m going to have him write down his goals for the business and compare it to mine. My personal goal is to have it automated within 5 years for passive income and I know that’s a stretch but I believe it’s possible. It seems his goal is some extra crash over the summer. I really want this partnership to work but I know it probably won’t. My question is how can we agree on what we want out of the business and if we can’t, how can I get out of the partnership without ruining our friendship? Thanks
