It’s been a little more than a year since we launched the AustinStartups.com publication on Medium and it has exceeded all expectations. With dozens of contributors and hundreds of stories, this truly is the voice of the Austin entrepreneurial community. I have to start by sending big a big thank you to Luke Brown for helping to launch the site and Joe Midura for picking up the reins as the curator who recruits new authors and reviews all of the suggested stories. He’s working behind the scenes every day! I also want to recognize Bryan Menell who created the original AustinStartup.com blog that this was inspired by.
Pretty much every day there is another story from one of Austin’s entrepreneurial leaders and some days we see a half dozen. There are more than 6,000 subscribers on Medium and 9,500 followers on Twitter. Help us spread the word by retweeting the stories and looking out for other great Medium stories we should include!
