San Diego-based Epic Sciences, a developer of diagnostics that personalize and advance the treatment and management of cancer, has closed $40 million in Series D financing. Hermed Capital led the round with participation from Altos Capital Partners, Domain Associates, Genomic Health, Pagoda Investment, Reach Tone Limited, RMI Partners, Sabby Capital and VI Ventures.
