The “share your startup” and “weekly feedback” threads tend to be a little slow. What about a more informal “wins” thread at the end of the week to foster random discussion about little things people are hyped about going into the weekend?
For example, I bribed some users on Instagram to become beta users and am now getting actual measured feedback on something I’ve been building in a bubble as a side project.
Multiple beta users are already asking if this is something they can share with their friends.
An Angellist email conversation actually turned into a meaningful offline conversation, and might turn into a key connection/investor opportunity. Not bad for 10 minutes of updating a profile.
Getting closer to full on beta launch and only have the “wtf am i thinking” moments about 6 times a day, as opposed to once every 15 minutes for 10 years.
