I believe my phone is listening to my private conversations to place ads. This happens almost every day to me. Here are some examples, my friend’s nickname is bean bag. I was calling him that, and later that night I saw an ad on instagram for a bean bag. It then happened to me with a shower curtain, camera, and brand of guitar, all separate conversations I had and then soon later “coincidentally” saw an ad for.
Even weirder, today I told my friend how I wished I had a pair of tevas while I was walking on hot sand. Of course, I saw an ad for tevas when I got home.
My phone wasn’t with me.
