A strange tweet was submitted today on his Twitter account that only says “Reports of my demise are not exaggerated.” No news of his death anywhere that I can find.
Professor Dreyfus is a hero of mine. He correctly criticised the AI community for their symbolic AI nonsense and they hated him for it. But he was right. Did the AI community ever apologise for their attacks on professor Dreyfus? Of course not.
