Static Phase converter to outlet?

http://ift.tt/2n1X0CI
Hello, I did a search and really did not see the answer i was looking for.

I see in most applications that when a static phase converter is used, the machine is directly wired to the converter. Is it possible to wire the converter to a power outlet?

say, you have two machines and want to be able to plug one, or the other in. possible? or do i need to remove the plug attached to the machine and wire it directly to the converter?

You will see attached, the plug attached to the machine at this time, the matching power outlet, and the phase converter that i will be using.
