In 1938, Hopkins-based farm-tractor manufacturer Minneapolis-Moline Co. applied a Swiss Army Knife approach to its Model U series. The result was the U Deluxe (or UDLX), an enclosed tractor capable of plowing fields during the day and driving to town in its off-hours. Just 100 examples were sold.
