38, just finishing an associate's degree, how do i get get in?

http://ift.tt/eA8V8J

For the last 20 years i have been helping family financially. I was a plumber for 13 years, truck diver for 6, definitely not the kind of skills that transfer into the tech field. Finally broke down, took a severe pay cut and am doing security so i finally have the time to go to school. I'm taking my last class to finish an associates degree at my local county college. Plan to go into NJIT in the summer.

I am going into ML field, my ask is, what can i do to expedite my progress, so i can start working in the field ASAP? Is there a faster track than just taking master's in comp sci? Online classes? Internships? Any help in the right direction will be appreciated.
