My company buys carbon blocks (round with a slightly round taper)our supplier is falling down badly, so we are looking into turning our own blocks. Have any of you ever turned carbon, my main concern is the dust and if the coolant well be okay with the carbon and vice-verse. Everthing that comes into contact with the carbon gets black and not easily cleaned.
